What skin care products can be used after this treatment?
It is essential to have a good skincare routine, especially as you age. It should become a way of life. Pick each product with care. Only use quality products. Use a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid, squalane, glycerin, and ceramides for hydration, and to help surface dryness. Mild cleansers with these cleansing ingredients will also help to protect the skin barrier and the pH of the skin. Avoid harsh chemicals in your skincare products that may dry out the skin and lead to irritation and redness.
Can makeup be applied afterwords?
Makeup or sunscreen can be applied immediately after the laser treatment.
How many sessions will I need?

Use gentle skin care and apply SPF 30 sunscreen daily.
Is any anesthesia required?
There is no anesthesia or topical numbing cream needed for this laser. The Zimmer Chiller Device is not needed as the laser is so gentle.
What areas can be treated?
The face, including the nose, cheeks, and forehead and around the eyes, are often treated. The neck and chest are other areas that are frequently treated. Hands can also be treated. This is a safe and effective treatment that improves the color and texture of the skin.
Do I have to avoid sun exposure?
It is crucial to apply sunscreen with a broad-spectrum SPF of 30 to 50, preferably containing zinc oxide. Additionally, it is beneficial to wear a hat with a brim measuring 2 inches. It is also recommended to steer clear of the midday sun between 10 AM and 3 PM.
Can this treat dark pigmentation?
Dark pigmentation or hyperpigmentation can be treated by other lasers, such as the Fraxel laser, the Limelight laser, or the RevLite laser.
Can this be used to treat blood vessels on my face?
If your blood vessels have an exceptionally delicate network, the Laser Genesis will effectively treat them. Otherwise, you may require another laser called the Cool Glide laser.
Can I have this laser after a facelift?
It is best to wait six weeks after a facelift before getting the Genesis laser.
Does this treat age spots?
The Laser Genesis does not treat age spots. The Cutera Xeo AcuTip laser treats age spots.
Is it necessary to quit smoking to have this procedure?
The laser is quite superficial, so there is no need to quit smoking.
Is this treatment covered by medical insurance?
The Laser Genesis is considered an aesthetic procedure and therefore is not covered by medical insurance.
